TruckFinanceHub ("we", "us") operates truckfinancehub.com, a referral and information service for business equipment finance. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. What we collect
When you submit an enquiry: name, phone, email, state, ABN tenure, asset and amount sought, and credit-history band as you describe it. We do not collect your credit report. We also collect routine technical data (analytics, device/browser information) when you browse.
3. Why we collect it
To refer your enquiry to a licensed finance broker who can assist you; to operate and improve the site; to respond to correspondence; and to meet legal obligations.
4. Who we disclose it to
Broker partners: your enquiry details are provided to a licensed finance broker (ACL holder or authorised credit representative) so they can contact you. This is the core purpose of the service and occurs with your consent given at submission. Service providers: form processing, hosting and analytics providers acting on our behalf. We do not sell your information to lead marketplaces or unrelated third parties.
5. Storage and security
Enquiries are transmitted via our form processor and stored in access-controlled systems. Some providers may store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protections.
6. Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask us to delete enquiry data, via our contact page. If you're unsatisfied with our handling of a complaint, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
7. Marketing
We only contact you about your enquiry. We don't add you to marketing lists without separate consent, and any such messages would include an unsubscribe.
