What we are (and aren't)
TruckFinanceHub is a referral service and information publisher. We are not a lender, and we are not a finance broker. We don't hold an Australian Credit Licence, and we never handle your loan. When you submit an enquiry, we pass your details to a licensed finance broker — an ACL holder or authorised credit representative — who contacts you, compares lenders and, if you proceed, arranges your finance.
How we're paid
Broker partners pay us a referral fee when we send them an enquiry or when a referred loan settles. You pay us nothing. Brokers, in turn, are typically paid commission by the lender on settlement — which they must disclose to you. This is the standard economics of Australian asset finance; we'd rather state it plainly than bury it in a footer.
Our editorial standards
- Indicative, labelled numbers. Rates and thresholds change; where we cite figures we label them indicative and date-sensitive rather than pretending precision.
- No pay-to-rank content. Guides describe how the market works, not who paid us most recently.
- Plain warnings where the industry has sharp edges — balloon risk, credit-repair scams, ABN-backdating schemes.
- Corrections. Spot an error? Email via our contact page and we'll fix it.
Who our broker partners are
We work with commercial asset-finance brokerages that hold or operate under an Australian Credit Licence, maintain professional indemnity insurance, and are members of an AFCA-recognised external dispute resolution scheme. Partner details, including the licensee arranging your finance, are disclosed to you at first contact.
Frequently asked questions
Is my information sold to multiple parties?
No — your enquiry is referred to one broker partner for handling, as described in our privacy policy. You won't be sprayed across a lead marketplace.
Can I choose to work with my own broker instead?
Of course. Our guides are free to read regardless — use them to ask your broker sharper questions.
